[REVIEW] Mamonde Rose Water Toner , LUSH Tea Tree Water, Bioderma Soothing and Moisturising Toning Lotion

Hi everyone, I'm back with a review on my 3 favourite toners !

Mamonde Rose Water Toner

My favourite toner right now. This is a soothing and moisturising toner that contains 90.89% of damask rose water instead of just water. The roses used are a type of rose grown in Bulgaria well known for their moisturising functions. This toner is free from mineral oil and artificial colour. So far this toner really helps to moisturize my skin and I really love the therapeutic effects of the smell of roses. I use this on days when my skin is clear. It is slightly sticky when I first apply it on my face but after it is absorbed into the skin, the stickiness disappears. Got this for about $25 on Qoo10. Will be sticking to this toner unless I find something even better !

LUSH Tea Tree water

This is an antiseptic toner which works well for acne prone skin. Last month my skin was irritated with red splotchy patches as a result of a reaction to the Ciracle Snail Cream which I was testing. Luckily I found this which really helped to calm my skin. It also prevented my skin condition from worsening. Its' light and absorbs very quickly into my skin. Really convenient especially in the mornings where I need to apply my skin care routine fast. It's non sticky and has a light tea tree smell. However this product doesn't do much in terms of moisturizing as I like it to be.

Bioderma Soothing and Moisturising Toning Lotion

This is my favourite toner for troubled skin! I got this in Hong Kong 2 weeks ago. My skin was really dry from the air flight and my skin got irritated due to a new makeup base I was using from Banila Co.. My skin was really in a bad shape... AND the worse thing was I left my LUSH Tea Tree Water at home ..So I went to the local drugstore and the sales assistant recommended this toner along with a moisturising cream.

I was really thankful to have purchased this ! This toner immediately soothed my skin and it was moisturizing at the same time. It's slightly thicker than the tea tree water and therefore takes a little more time to absorb into my face but I really like how it softens my skin after applying without leaving a squeaky clean tight feeling.  It's odourless and hypoallegenic and paraben free. I used this with the cream in the same range throughout the 5-day trip and my skin condition really improved alot ! This is suitable for any skin time and I would really recommend this especially for people with troubled or sensitive skin ;).

  1. Hi there,

I am looking to buy the Mamonde Rose Water Toner on Qoo10 as well. Do you mind sharing the details of the seller you bought yours from? The cheapest deal that I could find is $34.90 for a 500ml bottle.

Thanks. Great blog btw!! You are loving some of the same stuff that I adore!!

  2. Hi there, thank you for your feedback :) really appreciate it. :) Unfortunately the one that I got wasn't listed on Qoo10 anymore. In any case , if you do buy fm G-market, this seller is reliable and fast so far :)http://item2.gmarket.co.kr/English/detailview/item.aspx?goodscode=432266268 . With shipping it might be about the same price as the one you saw on Qoo10 but if you have other items to spread out the shipping cost, this could be a cheaper option. I'll let you know if I come across this toner again on qoo10 :)

  3. Hi,
Thanks for the review. Is the consistency of the toner like water or is it thicker like most other Korean toners? Cos I notice most korean toners are almost gel like which I'm not a fan of. Thanks!

    1. Hi there ! you are right. The mamonde toner does have a thicker consistency unlike the other two toners fm LUSH and Bioderma has a water like texture :)

  4. Hi,
I was wondering of the mamonde toner could help with acne? I just purchased one and I forgot to check if it could help or not. Thanks!
